Drake sophomore album ‘Take Care’ is almost here and everyone is wondering if young Aubrey can once again live up to the hype, however based on his first single Headlines the short answer is “no”. The song isn’t necessarily bad but it doesn’t feel like ‘single’ or even ‘album’ material. Drake comes across more aggressive/cocky than usual and the Boi-1da produced beat sounds really lazy and generic.
I’m pretty sure we’ll get a more radio friendly single closer to the album’s release but until then check out Headlines above.
