Sony has announced that Qriocity is now available for PSP in Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK. The service currently has over seven million songs which can be streamed to various devices. A premium account allows users to access tracks at any time as well as dozens of music channels with the ability to create your own playlists.
It also studies users’ listening habits and can deliver music channels tailored to your tastes in Last Fm fashion, this applies across all platforms.
The service is now also available on 2010 and 2011 models of network-enabled BRAVIA TVs, Blu-Ray Disc players, Blu-Ray Disc Home Theatre systems, VAIOs and PC. Those who have a registered PSN account will get a free 30-day trial. Qriocity also allows video/movie streaming on certain devices. Are Sony trying to make this their Zune marketplace?
