When one thinks of cult classics or games that support the “games as art” argument, it is hard to forget Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. If you ask anyone that played either or both of these games, chances are they are some of their favorites of last generation or even of all time. I never played Ico and I loved Shadow of the Colossus on my PS2, so I was delighted to hear about the bundle being released later this year for PS3! The bundle will include both games with completely upgraded 1080p HD graphics, 7.1 surround sound, trophy support and even stereoscopic 3D if your TV supports it. Having the chance to play these two beautiful games in glorious HD is great news!
More details have surfaced recently as well, in the form of what bonus content will be included. Everyone who purchases the game can expect to receive a voucher in their game case to redeem two XMB Dynamic Themes, one for Shadow and one for Ico. The disc will also contain bonus videos about each game, as well as some about the upcoming Last Guardian. Team Ico and Sony have promised more details soon, so hopefully they put a demo for The Last Guardian right on the disc!
