Yesterday, Deep Silver revealed a brand new trailer for their highly anticipated Saints Row IV video game.
For those who are unfamiliar, the premise for Saints Row IV revolves around the Saints leader being the newly appointed President of a futuristic Steelport. He is tasked with the obstacle of saving the city from a massive alien invasion. The video above sports several shots of gameplay footage to show just how fun and over the top Saints Row IV will be when it hits stores in August.
After having seen Saints Row IV at PAX East back in March, I can safely say that this game was not only one of the best games shown at the event but it also one of the most talked about games long after the show ended. Deep Silver’s decision to show gameplay footage at the event coupled with the fact that Rockstar Games was nowhere to be found easily made Saints Row IV a bigger deal this time around. It will be interesting to see how both games perform when the released only a month apart from each other.
Saints Row IV releases on August 20th in North America and on August 23rd in Europe for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
