Big K.R.I.T. – “King of the South” [New Music]

Written by on

It’s really sad that Big K.R.I.T. has to essentially run his own street team to promote his music, but that’s the case. Def Jam continues to drop the ball while KRIT is dropping some of the best music of his career as we head into the release of Cadillactica.

“King of the South” sounds like another street promo track in the vein of “Mt. Olympus”. It may not end up on the album proper, but it definitely create more buzz for the Mississippi native. Again like “Mt. Olympus”, this track is a declaration for the top, this time focusing on his own region. In my opinion, it’s not even debatable that he runs the South at this point in time. Check it out and share your thoughts in the comments below.
