GameStop Hosting Midnight Launch for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition a Day Early

Today, GameStop announced that it is offering the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition a day early! Plus, the world’s largest video game retailer will be offering game exclusives only available at GameStop.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, more than 4,100 GameStop stores will be staying open late with launch events celebrating the release of the Day Zero Edition of the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare available for purchase starting at 12:01 a.m. on November 3. Customers in select stores can participate in various activities, such as tournaments, giveaways and be the first to play the game live in-store.

Additionally, customers who buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition at GameStop will receive Double XP all day Monday to help customers level up quickly, and receive an array of bonus in-game content, including the Advanced Arsenal bullet brass exoskeleton and EM1 Quantum directed energy weapon, plus the AK-12G Assault Rifle and Crossbow-B2 custom weapons.

To the fans waiting to jump into the next-generation installment of Call of Duty, GameStop is offering customers deals that make the upgrade more affordable than ever.

  • Today through November 9, customers who trade in a PlayStation 3 (20GB or greater) or an Xbox 360 (250GB or greater) will receive $125 in store-credit when applied to the purchase of a new PlayStation 4 console
  • Customers that buy a new PS4 console along with a PS4 copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, will receive a year of PlayStation Plus, free ($50 value)
  • The Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle is available at GameStop for $449, starting November 3. The bundle features a 1TB hard drive, custom console and controller, and a limited edition exoskeleton, plus a digital copy of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero edition ($50 promotional pricing while supplies last).

For fans of first-person shooters, and for the first time since launch, customers can receive a discount on Destiny for the PS4 and Xbox One. To qualify, customers must visit GameStop’s Facebook page to receive a $10-off coupon which can then be redeemed in-store.
