If you’ve been keeping up with our Kickstarter Weekly, you may recall a game called Heart&Slash. The game is a 3D beat-em-up with rogue-like elements. Heart&Slash also features a unique robot who is fighting against outdated protocols while finding true love.
Last week, aheartfulofgames released the alpha build for Heart&Slash, which you can check out via their Kickstarter page. aheartfulofgames included these details about the alpha in their press release.
The alpha showcases combat and the beginning of the procedural generation of levels. It features 15 different weapons and 20 pieces of equipment, which is a limited sample of the over 140 different items that are planned for the full release.
Unfortunately, my computer isn’t capable of running the game; I originally planned to write a preview. So your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit Heart&Slash’s Kickstarter page and let me know what you think in the comments.
