Bandai-Namco has just released a few new screenshots from the upcoming Tales of Zestiria game. The pictures highlight some of the environments we’ll get to see in the game.
From the Tales of Facebook page:
“Tales of Zestiria goes back to the ancient roots of epic medieval fantasy. The amazing environments feature castles and old towns, allowing you to freely explore incredible places. From valleys to ruins, get ready to be transported on an adventure that will span the continent of Glenwood!”
Though the previous Tales of Xillia games had their fair share of medieval style environments, it was very rooted in sci-fi and featured hi-tech technology. Tales of Zestiria however seems to be taking things back to RPG basics and featuring old-school medieval towns. This isn’t to say we won’t see any advanced technology (this is a JRPG after all) but for now it appears as if the game will be more traditional in its approach.
Tales of Zestiria will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in 2015.
