In a Ubisoft financial call Yves Guillemot revealed that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs will be released later than all the other versions.
In the call he confirmed that Watch Dogs is due to release in the first quarter of Ubisoft’s fiscal 2014/15, which points to an April-June release. However in reference to the Wii U version, Guillemot said: “The Wii U SKU will be launched at a later date“.
This is more bad news for Wii U owners who were looking forward to Watch Dogs (is there any?) along with many rumours about the game being cancelled on the system. Hopefully we hear more concrete evidence of a Wii U version, plus some actual new gameplay and release date of the game soon!
Watch Dogs will eventually release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Wii U.
