Cobalt is Bringing a New Brand of Quirky 2D Action Platforming to Xbox Consoles

If you like your 2D Platforming Games to be insanely over-the-top, then Cobalt may satisfy your needs. The oddball title was announced today during the Xbox Gamescom Media Briefing event.

The game will feature both online and couch co-op. As you can see from the trailer, there will be a plethora of special abilities that can be used. The most unique one being the ability to slow down time. The game will have “over 30 multiplayer maps, six different gameplay modes, three dozen types of weapons and unique gameplay elements,” according to the video description.

Cobalt will be released on Xbox consoles and PC this October.
