Elder Scrolls Online Beta Hits Consoles Tomorrow

Elder Scrolls Online will officially be hitting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 9th. Zenimax Online and Bethesda studios have decided to kick off the pre-launch festivities by announcing an official beta to be released tomorrow, April 23rd.

Unfortunately for most, the beta will be available by invite only. Those who have not yet received a notification email about the beta will have to wait to play the full game until its official release date.

The Elder Scrolls Online team also announced other important details surrounding the beta:

This will not be a crossover beta. Players on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be playing on separate megaservers.

The beta will officially close on Monday, April 27th.

Characters will not transfer over from PC to consoles. All Elder Scrolls Online characters will start off at level one.

The beta debuts the full version of the game, not parts.

“At the moment, the client will exceed a 50GB Blu-ray disc which means there will also be a large day-one patch that is somewhere in the region of 15GB.” That is a total of 65GB of hard drive space!
