A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Mighty No.9. The video shows some of the game modes that players can expect from this side-scrolling adventure.
The three modes shown off are Boss Rush, Challenge, and Manic modes. Boss Rush is exactly what you would expect from the title. It lets you face all of the game’s bosses back to back. Challenge offers unique challenges designed to test one’s side-scrolling skills. Finally, Manic mode gives players a true challenge since they can be killed in one hit.
Two new modes showcased are the two-player online challenge mode and Online Race Battle mode. Two player co-op has Beck and Call joining forces to finish levels. Online Race Battle has players racing through levels while trying to rack up more points than their opponents.
Fans of Mighty No. 9 who are attending this weekend’s PlayStation Experience event will have a chance to not only play the game, but also meet the creator of the game, Keiji Inafune in person.
Mighty No. 9 will be released on February 9.
