Resident Evil 0 Getting the Remastered Treatment Next Year

Capcom said that they would focus on releasing more remastered games and they weren’t lying. In a company event in Japan, the gaming giant announced that a remastered version of Resident Evil 0 was in the works.

Resident Evil 0 was originally released as a GameCube exclusive, much like the Resident Evil remake which itself got remastered. As the name says, this is a prequel to the first game in which you play as S.T.A.R.S. medic Rebecca Chambers who is joined by former soldier Billy Coen. Similarly to Resident Evil: Revelations, this game lets you switch between the two characters.

We don’t have much more information on Resident Evil 0. We do know that it will be released sometime in 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more news on this as it develops.
