Frictional Games, the creators of Amnesia, has just released the new ‘story’ trailer for SOMA.
Although it was hinted in the SOMA‘s first 15 minute trailer that there is a link between the bio-mechanical creatures and the deceased humans scattered in the abandoned facility, we have never received so much confirmation they are the same being until now.
Considering the mechanical appearance of some of these creatures, it seems as though they could have been forcefully transformed by a third party, with their human identity unknowingly still in tact.
In the photo above you see a bio-mech staring in the mirror with a woman staring back at them. Are they aware of what has happened to them? Is Simon there to help them?
