Joe Budden is gearing up to release his next solo project All Love Lost (October 16th). One of the songs from the project has been getting quite a buzz since releasing yesterday, and that song is Slaughtermouse. On the song Joe Budden raps about his experiences with the group Slaughterhouse and his dealings with Eminem. In the video above Joe Budden explains the song in greater detail, but I suggest listening to the song first and trying to understand his creative direction.
The song is pretty much an open letter to Eminem, and in the end it shows Joe’s admiration for a mentor that walked a similar path. I personally think it’s one of Joe’s best songs in a while but take a listen and let us know what you think.
