The world of free-to-play Tank combat is about to get bigger, as Wargaming has announced that it’s popular World of Tanks is headed to the Xbox One sometime this year.
World of Tanks released in April 2011 for the PC, and soon developed a sort of cult following before blowing up (get it?) once it hit the Xbox 360 last year. It’s free-to-play system kept it popular amongst nearly every crowd of gamers, and it’s crowd will only grow now due to the next-gen push.
Not only will you be able to share your saves across the two systems, but you will also be able to keep in contact with your friends; there will be cross-platform play for the game, allowing players to blow each other up regardless of what generation they find themselves in.
