Earlier today, Insomniac Games confirmed via their Twitter account that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 has officially gone gold. As seen below, the tweet has a gif image of Spider-Man and Miles Morales sneaking across a rooftop along with a reminder of the global release date of November 12th for both platforms.

This upcoming action-adventure game takes place a year after Marvel’s Spider-Man and acts as a standalone narrative that revolves around Miles Morales. Although this hasn’t been confirmed, I’m also willing to bet that Miles Morales will also give fans a preview of what to expect from the next Spider-Man game which will most likely be a PS5 only exclusive and launch in the not too distant future. The concept of being able to play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales sounds too good and I’m sure Sony and Insomniac plan to capitalize on this idea sooner rather than later.
