Written by on

Welcome to episode 141 of The Co-op Podcast. This week Richard and I are joined by two important people on the indie video game press scene. Anthony Frasier, one of our founding members who is now working on his Tech808 conference for entrepreneurs joins us, along with the veteran Torrence Davis from The Bit Bag and STFU&Play. Torrence also hosts popular gaming podcast The Warzone.

This week we’re discussing Halo 5: Guardians raking in $400m worth of sales for Microsoft. Halo 5: Guardians was released almost 2 weeks ago now, and although it had a mixed reaction, it seems Microsoft are still profiting nicely. Find out what Torrence Davis has to say about the games multiplayer, and why Anthony Frasier isn’t so fond of the series.

Also on this show we discuss a Sony marketing manager saying that the shooter audience has switched to the PS4. Some bold statements are made about Sony during this discussion, so brace yourselves.

Also discussed:
– Activision buying Candy Crush developer King,
– Why in the world is there a Gamer Gate movie?

  On this week's show.
