Earlier this week, Darksiders 3 was officially announced. Soon afterwards, some gaming journalists posted about how certain fans were upset the lead character was female. Most gamers seemed to be happy to have a new Darksiders game, so where is this supposed backlash coming from? For our main topic, we discuss whether or not the media is manufacturing outrage when it comes to female protagonists, or if gamers are truly as intolerant as some reporters make them out to be.
