Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!
After nearly three years, Mighty No. 9 has finally been released and it is shaping up to be one of the most disappointing games in recent memory. Despite years in development and backing from Deep Silver, the game has failed to live up to the hype and expectations. Because of that, it is our main topic on tonight’s show.
Before we get into Mighty No. 9, we give our final analysis of E3 2016. Now that the dust has settled, we go over the show’s biggest announcements and biggest disappointments. For this discussion, we brought along our friends Parris Lilly from GamerTag Radio, Cicero Holmes from the Spawn On Me podcast, and writer extraordinaire, Robert Workman, to give us their impressions of the show.
Other topics we discuss on tonight’s show:
– Shuhei Yoshida says that PS4 Neo won’t cut into the lifecycle of the PS4
