Throwdown Ep. 94 – The Fall of the Nintendo Empire

Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!

Tonight’s main topic is centered around Nintendo. Though fans may be blinded to the truth, the company is in serious trouble. After investors realized Nintendo doesn’t make Pokemon Go, the company’s stocks have dropped 25% in a matter or days, losing over $6.4 billion. This isn’t something that Nintendo can afford, and we give a thorough analysis of the real situation happening in the company.

Other topics we discuss on the show:

Street Fighter V fails to sell any significant units last quarter
– Xbox One priced at $250 to make room for Xbox One S.
Burnout devs working on spiritual successor title
– Capcom is (finally) working on a new Mega Man game
– Adam Boyes is now CEO of Iron Galaxy
