Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!
Images and videos of the PlayStation 4 Slim were leaked online earlier this week and Sony was quick to take any related videos down… including videos of regular fans giving their impressions of the PS4 Slim. To some, it seemed like a heavy-handed way of handling the situation. Not one day passes when Sony announces that it is raising the price of PlayStation Plus to $60 a year. With these two events, it appears as if Sony is being anti-consumer. Is this the case, or are people coming down too hard on the company? We discuss this as our main topic.
Other things we discuss on the show:
– Sony promotes game that rips off assets and artwork from another game
– The plummeting popularity of Pokemon Go and No Man’s Sky
– The silence surrounding the release of the 500GB Xbox One S
– The Super Nintendo Turns 25 years old
This episode is dedicated to our departed friend, Rachael Murdock.
