Sony exclusive Deep Down has gotten a new trailer which was shown during this year’s Tokyo Game Show. This trailer is composed entirely of in-game footage which shows some combat and a tiny bit of the story.
Deep Down takes place in two different times and the trailer reflects that. The game takes place in the future but the player can use magical artifacts to transport to the past where they will battle against monsters either by themselves or with others. We see all kinds of different monsters for the player to defeat and various traps to avoid in the randomly generated levels.
While this trailer has impressive looking visuals, they aren’t anything close to what was shown during Sony’s PlayStation 4 reveal event of last year. I guess that’s to be expected since this is running off the actual game engine now but it is a tad disappointing. Still, it is very nice looking and is certainly no slouch in the graphical department.
Deep Down will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 next year. A beta for this game will also be available next year.
