Yesterday, Double Helix Games released a brand new Spinal reveal trailer from their popular Killer Instinct fighting game.
The video above showcases the evil skeleton in all his glory as he administers a serious beatdown on Jago. Longtime fans of the series have been waiting patiently for more DLC characters for the game and luckily Spinal is arriving just in time. Spinal is free for those who purchased the Combo Breaker pack and $4.99 for those who haven’t.
At the very end of this trailer, we get a brief glimpse of Fulgore as he prepares to join the battlefield. Unfortunately, Double Helix has already confirmed that Fulgore won’t be available for download until March.
With the release of these two characters, the Killer Instinct roster now stands at a total of 8 unique fighters. While more combatants can be added at any given time, Microsoft hasn’t given any clear indications yet on what their plans are next in regards to this game. I personally am not a fan of waiting several months just to gain access to a new fighter and I’m sure many gamers feel the same way.
