Super Time Force Delayed To 2014, Now Coming To Xbox One

Capybara Games today announced that their much anticipated title, Super Time Force, is coming to the Xbox One courtesy of the ID@XBox program. Unfortunately because they are are bringing it the Xbox One; both the XB1 and 360 versions have been delayed until 2014.

Nathan Vella, Capy co-founder and president spoke to Joystiq:

“As 2013 waned and the ruckus around new consoles got louder, we decided that launching on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 would be the best way for Super Time Forceto get out there, we really believe in our game, and we’re happy that ID@Xbox gives us a chance to bring it to players who made the jump.”

Capybara Games are also making the Microsoft published, Xbox One exclusive Below. They seem to be having a great time with Microsoft. Here’s a statement released today from Capy themselves:

“Between Super Time Force and Below, players will get the chance to see two very different games from our studio. Super Time Force is easily the most action-packed and ridiculous game we’ve ever made, while Below is, without much exaggeration, on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. Having these two vastly different games coming from our studio is a huge point of pride for us.”

While it is unfortunate that the game has been delayed, at least the game is now coming to more platforms, this means that more people can eventually enjoy the it. Let me know in the comments what you think about Super Time Force. Are you looking forward to it?
