Brooklyn rap group Black Moon are this week’s Throwback Thursday featured artist.
We have chosen five tracks from Black Moon’s discography that we will revisit.
The first of our five is “Who Got Da Props?“. Buckshot performs this song along with DJ Evil Dee who took production responsibilities. This was Black Moon’s breakthrough song from their 1993 debut album “Enta Da Stage“.
Track two is “U Da Man (DJ Evil Dee Remix)“. This song is from their 1996 ‘sophomore’ album “Diggin In Dah Vaults“. This album was a remix album of their previous work. “U Da Man (DJ Evil Dee Remix)” is performed by Black Moon members 5ft & Buckshot and are accompanied by Dru-Ha, Havoc, Tek & Steele.
The third track is “Annihilation“. Released in 1999 on their “War Zone” album, “Annihilation” is produced by Da Beatminerz and features Teflon and M.O.P.
Track four is “That’z the Way Shit Iz” featuring Swiff-n-Wessun. This song was released in 2003 on their “Total Eclipse” album and was produced by Da Beatminerz.
The final song is “How Many MCs…” from their 1993 debut album. “How Many MCs…” was produced by DJ Evil Dee and Mr. Walt of Da Beatminerz.
