Defiance is an MMO-shooter hybrid that releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC earlier this month. The game features one unique feature that has never been done before and that’s cross-media interaction. Events that happen in the game influence the SyFy TV show and vice versa; you can read my review of the game right here and check out how the final game itself turned out in my opinion.
I also recently got an email about an upcoming event that’s happening after the third episode of tonight’s show. Every Monday after the show airs at about 7:05 PST, is a show/stream on Twitch called Across the Badlands. Trion Worlds team members discuss events in the game, in the show and how they all connect together.
Tonight, on Monday April 29th, 2013, marks the day they will finally unveil the first chance for players to cross over from the game into the TV show. No details at the moment, but make sure you tune in when the time comes. I’ve provided embedded access to the stream right in this post, so come back to The Koalition and check it out tonight.
