A few weeks ago during San Diego Comic-Con, Zakk Snyder (300, Watchmen, Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice) tweeted out a picture of Superman holding a lightsaber. Last week he tweeted out a picture of Batman and R2D2 walking around the desert planet of Tatooine.
It seems as if Star Trek and Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams didn’t want to be left out of the fun and decided to tweet Zack Snyder this image:

Here we see C3P0 doing a very classic Batman-esque pose while a logo for the rebellion is seen in the background replacing the Batsignal. Now obviously this is all for jokes and isn’t meant to be anything other than goofy fun. It would be interesting if these mash ups did happen though. It would definitely make a lot of fans’ dreams come true for sure.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be released in movie theaters on December 18, 2015. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released in movie theaters on March 26, 2016.
