The United Kingdom branch of Amazon has listed the Limited Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight on their website. However, they may have just given away a major plot point of the game.
[alert type=”green”] If you DON’T want to be spoiled then what the hell are you doing in this post? Leave now! [/alert]
The collector’s edition of Batman: Arkham Knight comes with a Steelbook Case, Artbook, a Comic Book (with colors done by Throwdown’s very own Emilio Lopez), a character skins pack… and a statue. Now, I didn’t need to write all of the previous stuff but I did so for the sake of giving those who are still here and don’t want to be spoiled one last chance to leave this post. If you’re still here then I assume you don’t care so let’s keep on rolling.
Here is the image:
See what the statue says? “From a grateful city in memory of the Gotham Knight.”
This is the end of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham games, will it also be the end for Batsy as well? Seeing as how this series doesn’t mind killing off major characters (remember Arkham City?) and keeping with the overall dark tone of the previous games and of Batman: Arkham Knight, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Batman dies at the conclusion of this game.
While we obviously won’t know for sure until we play the game for ourselves, it would be a very brave and bold move for Rocksteady to kill off the Dark Knight. It would certainly give the series an air of poignancy to have Batman die while defending Gotham City.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 02.
