Knights of The Turntable is our brand new Hip-Hop podcast for lovers of the culture. This show is hosted by Charles “Profex” Singletary, and produced by me. On this first episode we were joined by Joe Hova, a radio host and avid Hip-Hop enthusiast. On episode one we gave our recap of the Total Slaughter rap battle event that took place this past weekend. We broke down each battle and announced who we thought won each battle.
We also spoke about some of the music we’ve listened to so far, what we enjoyed and what disappointed us. We also went on to highlight some projects we’re looking forward to later in the year. Then we addressed a very important news topic affecting independent music artists – Google is shunning independent artists from Youtube to deliver their new subscription model service. How will this affect the industry moving forward? We discuss it on the show.
