Welcome to another live episode of The Co-op Podcast. This week Michael A and Jakejames Lugo join us to discuss some of the latest topics in gaming, including Sony’s dominance during the month of November. Sony sold more hardware in November than their main competitor Microsoft, which is impressive considering Microsoft had more exclusive IPs. Interestingly, the timed exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider didn’t even chart in the top 10 software list. Does this mean it was a poor choice for Microsoft to secure the game as a one year exclusive? We discuss it.
All week people have been up in arms over the controversial decision from Square Enix to turn Final Fantasy VII Remake into a multi-part experience. Tony Polanco and our friends over on The Throwdown have had their say on the issue, but we’ve yet to share our thoughts so listen to our interesting discussion and let us know what you think.
Also, it was announced this week that Akuma would be an extra character in Tekken 7. Our fighting game experts Jakejames Lugo and Michael A have much to say on this news.
