Diablo III is returning to consoles once again with Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Edition. A lot of work went into making this game for the PlayStation 4. As such there will be a series of developer diaries which detail how the team brought it to life on Sony’s current-gen system.
Though Diablo III was ported to the PS3, the PS4 needed special attention given that it has the DualShock 4 controller. The controller, with its trackpad, allowed Blizzard to assign functions to it which allows players to cycle through menus. The Lightbar is also used to some effect as well and you can use its light to see which character you’re currently playing as.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will be released on the PlayStation 4 on August 19.
