Dark Souls II, the latest modern rogue-like in the notoriously brutal Souls series of games, is just over a month away from release. The folks over at From Software and Bandai Namco have done a great job marketing the series thus far in terms of its intense difficulty and Dark Souls II will likely be no different. While additions such as easier matchmaking with friends and voice chat will ease the experience, it will not affect the core gameplay mechanics and designs that the series is so well known for over the years.

Dark Souls II releases on March 11 in North America, March 13th in Japan and March 14th in PAL regions for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
