Bloodstained Adds & Meets More Stretch Goals as it Closes in on $2 Million [Update]

UPDATE

A new stretch goal has been added: 8-bit level.

ORIGINAL STORY

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the latest runaway Kickstarter success story. Legendary Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi’s newest project met its goal of $500k in less than four hours and raised $1 million in less than 24 hours. Due to how great the campaign is doing, additional stretch goals have been added. Most of these have already been funded and there are only two left to go as the game inches towards the $2 million mark.

The newly added stretch goals are: Cheat Codes ($1 million), Local Co-op ($1.25 million), New Boss ($1.5 million), Speed Run Mode ($1.75 million), and Boss Rush Mode ($2 million). The former three have already been funded while the latter two have not.

With thirty days left to go, it’s safe to assume that the game will get these last two stretch goals funded. Since there is still so much time left before the campaign’s end, it’s also possible that the game may add more stretch goals along the way.
