Another year, another Call of Duty title. Activision made it clear during their earnings call last week that we would start seeing more of this years iteration of Call Of Duty. Activision is looking to release the third installment of the Modern Warfare series. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now official.
The first teaser trailer of the game has just been released. For the most part it only confirms what we already knew, Mordern Warfare 3 is coming. It also seems to be hinting that the game will once again take place in the good ole’ USA. If you look close enough you can see the statue of Liberty, hopefully signifying a bulletfest in NYC. I’m also surprised to see no Infinity Ward logo anywhere in the trailer. Is this a simple snuff or is a new developer behind this game?
I’ve sworn the Call of Duty series off every year since World At War but I somehow ended up with MW2 and Black Ops in my disc tray, and I don’t suppose it’ll be any different with this next game. But to be honest, I kinda dig Call of Duty only when it has the Modern Warfare subtitle. Either way, Modern Ware 3 is going to be a colossal success. All aboard the Modern Warfare 3 hype train!
