Nintendo and the 3DS will have some serious competition this year in the battle for handheld supremacy. Sony’s next gen portable has officially been named the PlayStation Vita and it looks amazing. Not only does it look great, but the price seems to be just right as well. Joystiq has reported that the PlayStation Vita will cost $249/€249/¥24,980 for the wi-fi only version and $299/€299/¥29,980for the 3G enabled version.
