Ubisoft Announces Killer Freaks From Outer Space For Wii U

Ubisoft has continually shown support for all of Nintendo’s consoles and they aren’t stopping with Wii U. Unlike many third-party developers and publishers, Ubisoft did find some success on the Wii with hits such as Just Dance and the first Red Steel game. Ubisoft is hoping to get the same results on the Wii U console as they have announced a new exclusive IP for the Wii U.

Killer Freaks From Outer Space is a first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montpelier, that will take advantage of the Wii U’s controller screen as well as the built-in gyroscope. Based on a CG trailer and a set of screens, the game is very M-rated and will have you doing away with different types of creatures in unique ways like shooting saws and cutting them in half. Killer Freaks will feature local multiplayer that will allow you to play the game on the control screen while your friend plays on the big screen. Online multiplayer is confirmed but no details as of now.

Killer Freaks From Outer Space is scheduled to be a Wii U launch title. Check out the screens and the pretty neat trailer for the game below.
