A new mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts was revealed today with a trailer, it is called Extinction and is a 4 player co-op mode where you fight against waves of aliens.
The mode has you defending bases from the aliens while scavenging for resources to keep you alive, much like the zombie mode from previous games in the series. Each of the 4 player team can be a different class, although we don’t currently know what classes they are and how that works. Not much is known about the mode right now, all we know is that you’ll be fighting aliens, and lots of them!
Fighting against aliens is a cool idea although it does seem very similar to the zombies mode, hopefully it is different enough to feel new and exciting. Let me know in the comments what you thought of the trailer and whether you’ll be picking up Call of Duty: Ghosts next week.
Call of Duty: Ghosts releases for the PC, 360, Wii U and PS3 on November 5, for the PS4 on November 15 and for the Xbox One on November 22.
