Deus Ex: The Fall Hits iOS on July 11th

Earlier today, Square Enix announced that Deus Ex: The Fall is scheduled to hit iPhones and iPads on Thursday, July 11th.

The trailer above is taken directly from their E3 2013 presentation of the game. Deus Ex: The Fall is best described as a story driven action-RPG and the first release of a Deus Ex game on mobile devices. The game is also expected to release on Android devices at a later date. For further details on the game, Square Enix provided a brief description below.

DEUS EX: THE FALL is set in 2027– a golden era for science, technology and human augmentation, but also a time of great social divide and global conspiracy. Powerful corporations have seized control from governments and command the drug supply needed by augmented humans to survive. In this chaos Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary who underwent physical augmentation, is desperate for the truth behind the drug conspiracy. Betrayed by his private military employers, the Tyrants, not only is his own life at risk, but for all augmented humans, time is running out.

Deus Ex: The Fall will be available for $6.99 from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The game will be compatible with iPad 2 and above, iPhone 4s and above, and iPod Touch 5 and above. I personally was a fan of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and I’m very intrigued to see how this game turns out. If you never got a chance to check out Deus Ex: Human Revolution, then I would highly suggest that you take a look at Gary Swaby’s comprehensive review of the game.
