Xbox and Universal Partnership & Licensing have announced they will be creating a unique, stand alone expansion pack in just a few weeks. Xbox’s most popular racing franchise, Forza, is going to be combined with the blockbuster franchise, Fast & Furious, to bring an original adventure of high-speed racing in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast &Furious!
This stand alone expansion will be putting racers behind the iconic vehicles of the Fast & Furious film series. This will also include new exciting cars appearing in the Furious 7 film which hits theaters on April 3rd, 2015. Players will also be glad to know there is no need to have purchased or experienced Forza Horizon 2 in order to download and enjoy the open-world action.
“Forza is synonymous with racing and fun, so it’s only natural for us to work with one of the most celebrated automotive entertainment franchises in the world,” said Phil Spencer, head of Xbox. “This is a great way to bring Forza players into the world of Fast & Furious, and in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, every fan will get a chance to go wheels-first into the exciting action of the Fast & Furious franchise.”

In celebration to the furious 7 launch in theaters, the Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious expansion will be available for a limited two-week period, free of charge. Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious launches on March 27th, 2015, and marks the first day of the two-week period to begin and will continue until April 10th, 2015. So if you have a Xbox One or a 360, you’ll be able to download this for free! After April 10th, the expansion will only cost $10, those who downloaded the expansion during the promotion will continue their experience without restrictions.
In Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, players be able to complete game challenges, unlock new cars, take photos of their favorite cars and also share them with friends.
