Guitar Hero Live Gets a Release Date Announced, as Well as a Final Price

The people at Activision have announced a release date for their upcoming rhythm game Guitar Hero Live. Expect to shred on October 20, 2015.

Releasing as a bundle (Game + Guitar peripheral) for $100, you can expect to rock out on various platforms; the game will be launching on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, and a handful of mobile devices as well.

Guitar Hero Live aims to redefine the rhythm game genre by changing the recipe of how you play. You are now the rock star, literally and figuratively; a first person camera places you in front of an actual live audience, who reacts to your every mistake (or triumph). The folks over at FreeStyleGames have also completely redesigned the Guitar controller from scratch, in an attempt to make it easier for newcomers to play as well as make it more difficult for veterans of the series to master.
