Guitar Hero Live Will Have New Controller, Different Perspective

New Controller and Perspective inbound.

Written by on

According to French newspaper Le Monde, the next Guitar Hero game will be called Guitar Hero Live, and will feature a re-designed controller along with having the player perform songs in a first person perspective.

The story (linked above) has been taken down since the time of this posting, but a NeoGAF thread has been trying their best to dissect any information out of what might be coming.

According to the leak, the game will be developed by FreeStyleGames, a UK developer known for the DJ Hero series. The new controller will apparently have two rows of three keys, per Le Monde.

No news on when the game might be coming, but Activision will be hosting an event today at 10 AM EST, so it’s safe to assume that we will be getting much more news shortly.
