This morning, Bethesda released the first video of a six-part series, titled “S.P.E.C.I.A.L”. Outlining what exactly makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L in the first PSA, we begin with the letter “S”, which details the utilization of Strength in the wasteland.
Although a familiar trope in the Fallout series, this digital brochure PSA is an entirely new addition to the history of Fallout PR.
In episode one, a 2 minute 22 second video displays our favorite vault boy using his “innate vigor” against foes while roaming the wasteland. We see mutated raiders, super mutants and even catch a glimpse of what seems to be a fallout shelter similarly structured to match that of the series’ mobile counterpart, Fallout Shelter.
The video also describes the benefits of increasing your strength ability, “the greater the strength, the greater the impact” in addition to the debut of craft tables for custom weapons, the negatives of being over-encumbered and other tasty nuggets of mystery!
