Today at Gamescom, Microsoft Game Studios offered a first look at Cracktown 3.
Described as, “a new iteration of the groundbreaking open-world action series that features a whole new campaign — fully playable in co-op — and uses Xbox Live to power a city that isn’t just an exciting place to play, but is a part of your destructive arsenal.”
Crackdown 3 will focus on Agents working together to bring down a criminal empire, one step at a time; as players target various bosses throughout its open-world city in the order they choose.
The game will feature a new multiplayer experience that offers 100% destructible environments through the use of the Microsoft Cloud.
Multiplayer will begin in the Summer of 2016.
