Looks like Fallout 4 will get its first official mod support on Xbox One in a closed beta program. This beta is set to launch sometime after the release of the next DLC pack, Far Harbor.
A tweet from Bethesda states that the closed beta for mods will come to console soon, but specifically the Xbox One closed beta for mods will happen soon after the next DLC.
Considering in the same tweet, PC mods have already passed 1 million downloads, I’d say mods for the console version of Fallout 4 should do at least that well if not much better. Xbox One owners can look forward to some interesting mods for Fallout 4 very soon!
The new Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4 is set to launch simultaneously on all platforms (PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4) on May 19th. You can check out the trailer for the Far Harbor DLC above.
