The rumored Suicide Squad game from Warner Bros. Montreal has been cancelled, according to sources who spoke with Kotaku. The developer will now focus on a Batman game starring Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne.
The Suicide Squad game had been in development for two years and would have starred the team of anti-heroes. However, it had a rocky development history.
Warner Bros. Montreal studio head Martin Carrier and executive producer Reid Schneider left the studio earlier this year. Former executive producer on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided at Eidos Montreal, Stéphane Roy, is the new studio head.
Other than being rumored earlier this year, there is next to nothing known about the Damian Wayne game.
