Overwatch: Tips For Using Every Character

Summary: Torbjörn is a top engineer and weapons designer. On the battlefield he’s a defense hero with the ability to build turrets and armor packs to aid the team.

Torbjörn Tips

• If your turrets have taken out a fair number of enemies then consider rebuilding the turret in another location to take them by surprise
• If a target gets too close then it’s better to resort to secondary fire, which deals a burst of molten in a similar fashion as a shotgun. It’s important to know that each blast takes away three of Torbjörn’s 18 ammo, so use it wisely or you’ll be reloading more often
• Prioritize who you give Armor Packs to. First give them to weaker offense characters that need them such as Tracer, Reaper, Sombra and McCree. Then offer them to support characters like Lucio and Mercy who are often sought out and killed. Tanks such as Dva and Roadhog typically won’t need them as often as the others
• Torbjorn’s Molten Core may allow him to build faster, but your team will benefit more if you’ve already built the turret up to Level 2 before activating Molten Core. This instantly upgrades the turret to Level 3, allowing it to shoot deadly projectiles. Level 3 is only temporary, so getting the full 12 seconds out of it is crucial
