The docuseries that bought us expired Wal-Mart meat, gay straight husbands, meth mouth, Here Kitty Kitty and Carole fucking Baskins will be adding even more craziness to the Tiger King series.
In a shocking twist of events (much like the series) its sequel is coming to Investigation Discovery and not Netflix as originally believed.
Titled Investigating the Strange World of Joe Exotic, it will explore the show’s other most notorious figure, Carole Baskin, along with the other colorful characters that populated Tiger King – Doc Antle and Jeff Lowe.
The series promises to document “the investigation you didn’t get to see, revealing the secrets only Joe knows, the exclusive footage that has never been shown, and the search to answer the one question every person in America is asking themselves right now: although she’s denied it, is Carole Baskin responsible for the disappearance of her husband, Don Lewis?”
The show will also explore, “What skeletons is Joe still hiding within his untold past? Is his conviction truly justified? Who is Jeff Lowe and what does the FBI really know? What secrets lie hidden within Doc Antle’s walls?”
ID describes the show as a “definitive sequel,” even if the currently imprisoned Joseph “Joe Exotic” Maldonado-Passage, and Tiger King filmmakers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin aren’t associated with the project. Theresa McKeown and Colin Whelan will executive produce Investigating the Strange World of Joe Exotic, with Rebecca Sirmons as co-executive producer.
