Vitamin Connection is On Sale and Here’s Why You Should Get It Right Now

No seriously, stop whatever you’re doing and go buy this Nintendo Switch exclusive game now. I’ll wait right here.

Not convinced yet, eh? No worries, because I’m here to prescribe Vitamin Connection to cure your boredom. Side effects may include excessive laughter, frequent smiling, and large boosts in dopamine.

This adorable action/adventure game by WayForward just went on sale for 30% off and I can’t recommend it enough. As a matter of fact, I can’t seem to stop talking about it online. I think you get the idea at this point. There’s plenty to love about Vitamin Connection.

Vitamin Connection

It’s Got Cool Art Style

It’s a hip-looking game with a minimalist style that just pops at you. The character designs are very cute, so much so that I almost feel bad blasting those germs. Funny dialogue too! It’s like you’re playing a Genndy Tartakovsky cartoon (The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, etc.). Bright and colorful.

It’s Got Action

The gameplay itself is simple and can be picked up fairly quickly by just about anyone. You get to play as the two main protagonists, Vita-Boy and Mina-Girl, who swim through the bodies of the Sable family while fighting viruses inside a Joy-Con ship. You have to navigate across different paths trying to find the infections and eliminate them. Use your beam blast as you float, as well as your grappling hook to move obstacles aside. Some bloodstreams make you travel faster so beware! All in all, it’s good family-friendly fun.

Vitamin Connection

It’s Got Multiplayer

It has co-op gameplay as well as solo. The co-op uses the Joy-Con’s IR sensor and you’d have each player have a single Joy-Con to control. I’ve only played this solo, but I can imagine this would be a ton of silly fun trying to coordinate with another person.

It’s Got a Killer Soundtrack

When I first played Vitamin Connection, I was blown away with how cool the music was. It’s funky and upbeat. The soundtrack is enormous! Many great tracks produced by music group Mint Potion and featuring talents such as Chiyoko Yamasato and Jake Kaufman. You can check it out on numerous online music platforms but to me, there’s nothing like hearing it in the background as you’re exploring throughout the game. It really sets the tone. If you’re familiar with and like the music of the Katamari series, then this should be right up your alley.

Vitamin Connection

It’s Got a New Low Price (For a Limited Time)

Did I mention that it’s now on sale at an all-time low price? It was already a bargain at its MSRP of $19.99 but if you buy it on the eShop between now and August 30th, 2020, you can get it for just $13.99. That’s less than the cost of an extra-large pizza, and this will satisfy you for much longer!

If all of that isn’t enough and you’d rather judge for yourself, well today’s your lucky day.  WayForward has also made a demo version available for you to try before you buy. You can visit the eShop on your Nintendo Switch or go on their Nintendo site and click on Download demo to have it sent to your Switch. Give it a try and see if you like it. I fell in love with it right away, just the overall vibe of the game. It puts a smile on my face every time I play it.

This is no tough pill to swallow. Take advantage of the savings while they last! Vitamin Connection is a game that the whole family can enjoy. Get your healthy dose of fun today for the Nintendo Switch, on sale now digitally for 30% off through August 30th.

Thanks, everyone for reading and happy gaming!
