Today Activision revealed the brand new launch trailer for their highly anticipated Call of Duty: Ghosts video game.
The video above features various action sequences and numerous explosions all set to the soundtrack of Eminem’s Survival song. The trailer provides a nice balance between gameplay and cutscenes along with the popular dog that will also be a playable character in the game. Below is a brief description that Activision has provided for the game:
Outnumbered and outgunned, but not outmatched. Call of Duty: Ghosts takes players to a world altered by a devastating mass event. Following an elite squad of soldiers known as the “Ghosts,” lead the fight back against a newly emerged global power.
One of the most interesting things about this launch trailer is that it’s being released literally two weeks before the game is scheduled to hit stores. EA will be releasing Battlefield 4 next week and it feels as though this move may be meant to keep the thought of Call of Duty fresh in everyone’s minds. While I’m more impressed by Battlefield 4, I still plan on picking up Call of Duty: Ghosts as well just to compare both games in full.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch worldwide on November 5th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. Next-gen versions of the game will launch with both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Did this trailer convince any of you to check out the game next month? Does Battlefield 4 have a shot at competing toe-to-toe with Call of Duty: Ghosts?
